Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation and prospecting:
  • Identify and generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Research and identify potential clients in need of web development services, including custom websites, e-commerce platforms, SEO, and digital marketing.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent sales activity.
  • Sales presentations and client engagement:
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demos to potential clients, showcasing the company's web development offerings.
  • Understand client needs and requirements to recommend tailored web development solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Answer client questions and address concerns throughout the sales process, providing clarity and expert advice on the web development process.
  • Sales negotiation and closing:
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients to close sales.
  • Work with internal teams (designers, developers, project managers) to ensure the proposed solution is feasible and aligns with client expectations.
  • Close deals and convert prospects into long-term clients while ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team for project initiation.
  • Client relationship management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, follow-up, and regular communication.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any post-sale inquiries and working with the project team to ensure the project meets client expectations.
  • Sales reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system to track leads, prospects, and sales activities.
  • Prepare and submit weekly or monthly reports on sales activities, progress towards targets, and forecasts to the Sales Manager or Director.
  • Monitor sales metrics such as conversion rates, deal size, and sales cycle duration to continually improve performance.
  • Market and competitor analysis:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to help identify new sales opportunities.
  • Communicate market insights to the team to assist in the development of more effective sales strategies.
  • Collaboration with marketing:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns, generate leads, and ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies.
  • Provide feedback on sales materials and marketing collateral based on client interactions.
