Job Description

Position Overview:

Corporate Relations Officer (CRO)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate Networking & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate organizations, HR heads, and industry leaders.
  • Identify new companies for collaboration, internships, training, and campus recruitment drives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the institution and corporate partners.
  1. Placement Coordination

  • Coordinate with departments and training & placement cells to organize campus placement drives.
  • Ensure smooth execution of placement activities, pre-placement talks, and company visits.
  • Prepare and maintain placement records, reports, and company feedback.
  1. Industry-Academia Collaboration

  • Initiate MoUs and partnerships with industries for internships, live projects, research, and guest lectures.
  • Coordinate with companies for industrial visits, workshops, and seminars.
  • Support faculty in integrating industry-relevant curriculum and skill-based training.
  1. Branding & Outreach

  • Represent MPGI in corporate forums, job fairs, and professional networking events.
  • Promote the institutions brand through corporate engagement and placement success stories.
  • Assist in preparing promotional materials, presentations, and reports for corporate outreach.
  1. Student Development Support

  • Guide students in understanding industry expectations, resume building, and interview preparation.
  • Collaborate with the training department to design employability enhancement programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Masters/Bachelors degree in Management, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 2-5 years of experience in corporate relations, placements, or business development (preferably in an educational institution or corporate training organization).
  • Strong corporate network and proven experience in building industry connections.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple corporate engagements simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach.
