Corporate Finance Specialist

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee and manage all financial aspects of Zenplus / Zenzo operations. The role will be responsible for end-to-end financial accounting, statutory compliance, reporting, tax planning, and ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership to support business growth, financial discipline, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS) and internal company policies.

2. Taxation

• Manage preparation, filing, and compliance for GST, Income Tax, TDS, Transfer Pricing, and other applicable taxes.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance.
• Handle tax assessments, notices, and coordination with consultants and authorities.

3. Audit & Compliance

• Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.

4. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Monitor budget utilization and highlight deviations with corrective action plans.
• Support leadership with scenario analysis and financial projections.

5. Accounting Operations

• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.

6. Cash Flow Management

• Monitor daily and periodic cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Plan and manage working capital requirements.

7. Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Strengthen and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity.

8. Management & MIS Reporting

• Prepare periodic MIS, dashboards, and performance reports for senior management.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

9. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid ICAI membership.

Experience

• 7-11 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, taxation, audit, or compliance.
• Prior experience in healthcare, service industry, B2B, or corporate setup preferred.
• Exposure to multi-entity or fast-growing organizations will be an added advantage.
