Job Description

As an in-house Corporate Counsel at NSF, your role involves advising and counseling global business leaders on legal, risk, and compliance aspects across various business issues. You will review and develop legal agreements, provide guidance on employment law, intellectual property, real estate, and collaborate with the Deputy General Counsel on legal matters. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel in the APAC region, you will handle global matters with the support of the internal Legal Department and external legal counsel. Key Responsibilities: - Provide legal advice on global business initiatives, policies, and internal compliance to ensure adherence to laws and regulations. - Assist in overseeing global legal affairs, coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary. - Analyze and offer guidance on global projects and transactions to achieve corporate objectives. - Review, negotiate, and draft legal agreements. - Distribute required legal agreements to global NSF customers, suppliers, and independent contractors. - Assist in intellectual property protection, licensing, enforcement, and support merger and acquisition activities. - Provide counsel on litigation, dispute resolution, and support Quality, Compliance, and Risk teams on initiatives. - Collaborate with Legal Department members to develop and implement key legal processes and systems. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in-house legal experience. - J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. - Experience in a global company and employment law, including internal investigations. - Strong legal judgment, experience in drafting and negotiating various legal agreements. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. - Excellent communication skills, ethical standards, and ability to work cross-functionally. - Foreign language skills and international travel availability preferred.
