Role Overview
The Head/Director of Corporate Communications & Brand will lead the integrated communication strategy for the entire group, strengthening brand presence, enhancing media and public relations, and driving employer branding across all business units. This role serves as the organization's voice externally and a strategic communications advisor internally, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all channels. The position requires a seasoned communications leader with a strong command over corporate reputation, strategic storytelling, and stakeholder engagement at national and international levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integrated Communication Strategy
- Develop and execute a holistic communication strategy covering brand management, media & PR, external communications, internal communications, and employer branding.
- Ensure cohesive brand presence across all group companiesaligned with overall organizational goals and leadership vision.
- Drive unified messaging architecture, governance frameworks, and communication standards across the organization.
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a multidisciplinary communications function, including brand management, content & design, communications strategy, media relations, social media, and talent branding.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering collaboration with HR, Marketing, Business Units, and senior leadership.
- Establish performance KPIs, project workflows, and excellence standards for the communications organization.
3. Media, PR & Stakeholder Relations
- Act as the official spokesperson and primary point of contact for media.
- Represent the company with national and international press, industry associations, government bodies, policymakers, ministers, and bureaucrats.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with journalists, editors, government officials, regulators, think tanks, and influencers.
- Drive proactive media advocacy, narrative building, and reputation enhancement.
4. Brand Building & Creative Strategy
- Lead brand-building initiatives, including digital engagement, advertising, and creative campaigns.
- Oversee visual identity systems, brand guidelines, storytelling frameworks, and multi-channel marketing communications.
- Shape and strengthen the groups market positioning across diverse industries and audiences.
5. Digital Communications & Social Media
- Drive digital-first communication strategies leveraging social media, owned content, digital PR, and analytics.
- Develop content that enhances leadership visibility and positions the organization as an industry thought leader.
6. Internal Communications
- Oversee executive messaging, leadership communication, and company-wide internal communication programs.
- Ensure clarity, alignment, and engagement across business units with structured communication channels.
- Support change management, policy announcements, and organization-wide strategic initiatives.
7. Crisis & Reputation Management
- Lead sensitive communications, crisis responses, and rapid stakeholder outreach in high-risk scenarios.
- Develop crisis protocols, scenario planning frameworks, and reputation monitoring dashboards.
8. Campaigns, Events & Outreach
- Plan and execute high-impact campaigns, press briefings, corporate events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Integrate traditional and digital media to maximize reach, impact, and brand equity.
9. Insights, Trends & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, media narratives, competitor activity, and policy developments.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to shape external messaging and market positioning.
10. Agency & Budget Management
- Oversee external agency partnerships, including PR firms, creative agencies, digital vendors, and production houses.
- Manage budgets, vendor performance, and ROI on communication investments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements when engaging with government agencies and public bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
15–20 years of progressive leadership experience
in corporate communications, brand management, public/media relations, and campaign management. - Proven success working in
large, multi-business manufacturing or technology organizations
. - Strong background leading integrated communications teams across brand, PR, digital, and employer branding.
- Demonstrated experience handling senior political, regulatory, and industry-level stakeholders.
