Job Description

Role Objective:

The Corporate Communication Head will provide strategic leadership to the Corporate Communication Group (CCG) .This leader will be responsible for driving brand building, managing media relations, leading campaign design and execution, overseeing internal and external communication, and fostering a high-performing team as per the attached structure. The role demands exceptional executive presence, communication skills, and proven capabilities in stakeholder management, media outreach, and public affairs.

C. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated corporate communication strategy covering brand presence, media & PR, and employer branding across all group companies.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team covering brand management, content and design, communications strategy, media relations, social media, and talent branding, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives (referenced team structure).
  • Serve as spokesperson and single point of contact for media, facilitating company representation with national and international press, industry associations, policymakers, ministers, bureaucrats, and other external stakeholders.
  • Drive strategic brand building initiatives, including digital engagement, creative campaigns, and market positioning.
  • Oversee internal communications and executive messaging for top management, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement across business units.
  • Manage reputation, crisis response, and rapid stakeholder communication in sensitive scenarios.
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists, government officials, regulators, and other influential figures to strengthen the companys public image and policy positioning.
  • Coordinate high-impact campaigns, events, press briefings, and multi-channel communication efforts, leveraging both traditional and digital platforms.
  • Mentor team members, foster professional development, and coordinate collaboration with business, HR, and marketing units.
  • Track industry, competitor, and media trends to proactively inform senior leadership and shape external messaging.
  • Oversee external agency collaborations, creative vendors, and budget allocations to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements when communicating with government agencies.

D. Qualifications

  • Masters degree or equivalent professional certification in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Business.
  • 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, brand management, public/media relations, and campaign management, with proven success in the manufacturing or technology sector.
  • Strong pedigree in leading organizational communication functions for large, multi-business groups, including experience managing teams covering brand, PR, and employer branding disciplines.
  • Demonstrated executive presence; outstanding verbal and written communication skills, confident media handler, and skilled with engaging senior politicians, ministers, bureaucrats, and industry associations.
  • Deep expertise in digital platforms, social media engagement, crisis comms, and managing reputational risks.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levelsinternal teams, external stakeholders, agency partnersand influence outcomes through strategic communications.
  • Knowledge of best practices in campaign design, internal comms, policy advocacy, and change management communications.
  • High integrity, interpersonal savvy, and positive leadership style.
