ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The Ideal Candidate:

One who believes in the power of the written word and can use it to sell anything—from real estate to Crocs!

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be versatile enough to write everything from punchy headlines for ads and social media posts to long-form copy for blogs and brochures
  • Be curious enough to delve into a client’s business, conduct thorough research, and uncover valuable insights
  • Have a strong command of the English language (knowledge of colloquial Hindi is a plus)
  • Take ownership and show dedication towards their craft

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and execute original concepts on assigned projects
  • Research and understand the client’s needs, brand archetype, target audience personas, and review past work for creative efficacy
  • Write original copy and edit content for a wide range of marketing and communications materials (emails, social media ads, posts, Google Ads, search engine marketing, websites, brochures, leaflets, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams from concept development to final delivery (e.g., email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
  • Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects
  • Edit and proofread copy
  • Apply SEO principles where relevant (knowledge is a plus)

QUALIFICATIONS (Apply only if you meet the following criteria):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred
  • 2–5 years of professional copywriting experience with a compelling portfolio
  • Social media or content marketing experience is a plus
  • Energetic, innovative writer with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
