We create stories for a interest based content for a Google Discover-first world, and we’re building a team that blends news sense, creativity, and data.

📝 What You’ll Do

• Edit and rewrite daily stories across health, wellness, food, entertainment, lifestyle, and culture - especially for US based audeince.
• Strengthen structure, clarity, tone, and flow while preserving factual accuracy.
• Craft powerful headlines, intros, hooks, and packaging that drive clicks ethically.
• Spot trends, themes, from our proprietary tech that evaluate newsworthiness, and turn them into reader-first story angles.
• Ensure consistency with newsroom standards, style guides, and publishing protocols.
• Research & fact-check using credible sources (journals, experts, official reports).
• Repurpose content across formats - photo stories, listicles, explainers, social posts, reels scripts.
• Use AI tools for editing, fact-checking, idea expansion, quality checks, and speed.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, social teams, product, and editors.
• Publish stories through the CMS and ensure clean routing, metadata, tags, and formatting.

📌 Mandatory Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a digital newsroom (news desk, features desk, entertainment/lifestyle desk, or web copy desk).
• Familiarity with digital newsroom execution processes—handoffs, deadlines, CMS workflows, breaking news turnaround, publishing hygiene, and version control.
• Strong grammar, editorial judgment, and headline instincts.
• Ability to work on multiple stories simultaneously under tight timelines.
• Comfort with SEO basics, analytics orientation, and Discover-friendly content packaging.
• Ability to quickly research, validate facts, and spot weak spots in a draft.
• Experience using AI tools to improve output speed and quality.
