Contracts specialist-Senior

As a Contracts Administrator at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your role involves drafting, negotiating, administering, and managing contracts to ensure clear terms aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs. You will be actively involved throughout the contract lifecycle, addressing issues and risks as needed. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the full contract lifecycle from agreement inception to closure - Drafting, negotiating, and administering moderately complex contracts and amendments - Negotiating legal terms with suppliers and securing necessary approvals - Independently managing contracts to ensure execution according to terms - Researching, analyzing, and interpreting contracts to support business decisions - Applying knowledge of Qualcomm's policies and positions related to contracts - Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders - Making sound, ethical, and timely decisions - Suggesting improvements to existing processes and methods - Updating Contract Management System and maintaining file storage Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field with 5+ years of Contract Administration experience, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience. You should be able to meet strict deadlines and work well in a multicultural team. Preferred qualifications include professional experience in strategic sourcing deals, knowledge of legal and business concepts, end-to-end supply management processes, and Contract Management Systems. Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional business environments are also desired. You will be working under some supervision, responsible for your work, with the impact of decisions readily apparent. Fluency in Business English is required.
