Job Description

Represent Colliers International on single or multiple projects in respective cities/regions.
Develop and draft general and special conditions of contracts.
Maintain and implement construction proforma/budget for each project.
Identify and procure contract material requirements based on project plans and lead time at the most economical rate without compromising on quality.
Ensure effective vendor relationships to secure the best deals for the organization.
Conduct procurement analysis, supply risk assessments, demand and supply market analysis, and supplier evaluation.
Provide MIS reports and install a system of inspection to ensure materials received meet specifications.
Establish a system of pre-qualification of vendors & suppliers and research new materials for design and cost savings.
Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
Assist in maintaining company quality control programs, handle change order requests, and manage claims.

Job Requirements

BE Civil degree; additional qualification like Postgraduate in Contract Management is preferred.
Minimum 18-20 years of construction industry experience, including at least 15 years in procurement and handling multiple projects.
Knowledge of the complete tendering process and familiarity with Contract Management, Standard Tender conditions, and Indian and International conditions like FIDIC.
Exposure to turnkey contracts and projects such as commercial buildings, IT Parks, Hotels, Residential, and Hospitals.
Experience in claim management and taxation.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to read and understand construction plans.
Good team player.
