Job Description

Assist the CDP and senior chefs in daily kitchen operations. Prepare, clean, and organize workstations before and after shifts. Handle basic cooking tasks including chopping, marination, and mise-en-place. Follow recipes accurately to maintain portioning and quality standards. Support in cooking, grilling, frying, and plating as per menu requirements. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly following FIFO. Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow all food safety guidelines. Handle equipment carefully and report any maintenance needs. Work efficiently during service to deliver timely orders. Assist in receiving and checking daily supplies. Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow. Adhere to restaurant SOPs and maintain consistency in food quality. Be open to learning and improving skills across various kitchen sections. Support in stock control and alert seniors about shortages. Maintain professional conduct, discipline, and teamwork at all times.
