Continental Chef

As a Continental Chef at our company, your role will involve preparing and cooking Continental dishes according to recipes and presentation standards. You will collaborate with senior chefs to develop new recipes and menu items while ensuring consistency and innovation. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards, as well as assisting in inventory management, ordering supplies, and managing raw material costs. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and supervising junior chefs to foster a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook Continental dishes according to recipes and presentation standards - Collaborate with senior chefs to develop new recipes and menu items - Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards - Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and managing raw material costs - Train and supervise junior chefs to foster a positive team environment Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations - Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Certification from a culinary school is a plus Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with day shift, evening shift, morning shift, rotational shift, and weekend availability required. The work location is in person.
