Continental Chef

Job Summary

The Continental Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality continental dishes in a hotel environment. The role includes menu planning, maintaining hygiene standards, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction through consistent food quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook continental cuisine such as Italian, French, Mediterranean, and European dishes.
• Ensure all dishes meet hotel quality standards for taste, consistency, and presentation.
• Follow standardized recipes and contribute to new dish creation.
• Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage.

Kitchen Operations

• Organize workstations and ensure timely preparation during service.
• Supervise commis chefs, cooks, and helpers assigned to the continental section.
• Maintain kitchen equipment in proper working order and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections for smooth workflow.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Follow food safety regulations (HACCP standards).
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
