Primary role title:

SEO Content Writer (high-performing, standardized title)Role & Responsibilities

Create high-quality, SEO-optimised long-form and short-form content (blogs, case studies, landing pages, email copy, and product docs) that drives organic traffic and conversions.
Perform keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices—meta tags, headings, internal linking and content structure—to improve SERP rankings and CTR.
Collaborate with product, marketing and design teams to translate technical features into clear benefits and customer-focused narratives.
Manage a content calendar: pitch topics, draft outlines, publish to CMS, and ensure timely updates for evergreen pieces.
Edit and proofread content for accuracy, tone, and brand voice; enforce quality standards and editorial guidelines across channels.
Monitor content performance using Google Analytics/Search Console and iterate based on engagement, traffic and conversion metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

2+ years writing professional content with measurable SEO results (traffic, rankings, conversions).
Practical experience in keyword research, on-page SEO and optimising copy for search intent.
Fluent written English, strong grammar, and ability to adapt tone for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with WordPress or other CMS, Google Analytics, Search Console and basic HTML formatting.
Experience writing for SaaS, EdTech, developer tools, or B2B technology products.
Familiarity with content tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, Grammarly) and working in a hybrid setup.
