About the Role:

We're looking for a creative and skilled Content Writer to develop engaging written content for our student engagement initiatives and institutional campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a strong storytelling ability, excellent writing skills, and a good understanding of youth culture and digital platforms.

You will work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure that our written assets reflect the energy and vibrancy of campus life, supporting our mission to engage students and institutional leadership effectively.

Responsibilities

• Write blog posts, articles, and features on student life, campus events, and engagement trends
• Create compelling captions and copy for social media platforms and campaigns
• Collaborate with the design and events teams to align messaging across formats
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, tone, and grammar
• Research relevant topics and trends in higher education and youth engagement
• Maintain consistency with EngageU’s brand voice and communication goals
• Contribute to content calendars and campaign planning
• Adapt writing style for different platforms and audiences

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience as a content writer, journalist, or copywriter
• Proficient in written English; Hindi writing skills are a plus
• Strong storytelling and editing skills across formats (blogs, captions, scripts, etc.)
• Familiarity with SEO basics and digital content best practices
• Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Comfortable with dynamic work environments and youth-centric themes
