The position involves performing all stages of the processes to publish technical content in online, mobile, and printed formats. Job Posting DetailsRole:Work with cross functional Teams and multiple Business/Product Owners to create and update technical contentAccountable for the successful completion of high-quality projects within the technical writing functionEnsure updates are made to content in accordance to the CS&D writing standardsManage day-to-day writing and publishing needs to deliver content online for consumption through multiple channels including Web and mobileProvide excellent customer service to our business partners and customers Author in XML or markdown, a tool utilized for content creation and editing Publish technical content to multiple platforms and output types, such as PDF, HTML, Wiki, and online help file generationAll About You:Possesses strong organizational and time management skillsExhibit strong written and verbal communication skillsTechnologically savvy, spearheading innovation through ingenuity, creativity, and thoughtful risksAdaptable to dynamic change and ambiguity thriving in a fast-paced environmentAbility to identify process improvement opportunitiesTeam player, ability to interact and consult with various levels throughout the organization to cultivate and expand partnershipsExhibit the highest degree of professionalism, accountability, and empowerment to drive resultsBasic working understanding of content localizationAbility to work independently including the ability to problem-solve and troubleshootExperience with Microsoft Office productsExperience with or prepared to learn content management system (CMS) and other authoring tools, such as Ixiasoft, Oxygen, XML, xMetal, Visual Studio CodeBasic understanding of DITA/XML, HTML, and PDFFamiliarity with taxonomy and entitlements within HTML, Markdown, and XMLWillingness to learn and expand knowledge of Information ArchitectureWillingness to mentor and train peersExperience with MSTP/Chicago /any other technical publication guidelines.
