About the Role: Content Researcher + Writer

This role is crafted for someone deeply immersed in the content ecosystem. Someone who lives and breathes story formats, creator culture, platform evolution, and cultural shifts. You’ll be the intelligence behind Rarekind’s creative output — mapping the landscape, decoding patterns, and pushing forward the thinking behind everything we create.

It is a combination of deep research, sharp writing, and original perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, OTT, Substack, TikTok (global), Reddit, and others to identify narrative patterns, emerging formats, and white spaces
• Track and document trends in storytelling, creator economy, brand campaigns, IP formats, and content innovation
• Develop creative briefs, research decks, and reference libraries for internal and client-facing projects
• Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to turn insights into compelling ideas, scripts, and formats
• Write clear, insight-driven content including video treatments, pitch notes, scripts, and format breakdowns
• Contribute original, well-informed perspectives in brainstorms and strategy meetings

What We’re Looking For

• 1 to 3 years of experience in content strategy, research, writing, editorial, or creative development (preferably in agency or media settings)
• Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to synthesize diverse information into clear insights
• A strong understanding of how content performs and evolves across platforms
• Excellent writing and storytelling ability with clarity of thought and articulation
• Awareness of both Indian and global content trends, creators, communities, and cultural movements
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented
• Bonus if you have experience in branded content, new media, or talent-driven storytelling
