Job Description

Mobile Content Production (70%)Ideation & Trend Spotting: Proactively monitor current social media trends (audio, video formats, challenges) across Instagram and TikTok, and rapidly translate them into brand-relevant content ideas. Shoot & Produce: Plan, shoot, and star in (when necessary) high-quality, authentic video content using a smartphone/mobile camera. This includes quick product demos, "day-in-the-life" content, behind-the-scenes glimpses, factory tours, and engaging visual storytelling about the cycling community. Rapid Editing: Execute fast-paced editing directly on mobile apps (e.g., CapCut, InShot, VN) to create dynamic and platform-native content that maximizes watch time. This includes adding text overlays, music, sound effects, and smooth transitions. Content Volume: Be responsible for meeting high-frequency content quotas (e.g., 5-7 Reels/TikToks per week, plus daily Stories). 2. Storytelling & Brand Voice (20%)Authenticity: Ensure all content feels genuine, unpolished (where appropriate for the format), and directly aligned with the bicycle brand's personality and values. UGC Replication: Create content that mimics high-performing User-Generated Content (UGC) styles to build trust and drive conversions. Collaboration: Work with internal teams (e.g., product development, customer support) to gather ideas and information, turning technical details into engaging, simple content. 3. Asset Management & Handoff (10%)Pre-Publishing Review: Ensure all produced assets meet basic brand safety and visual standards before handing them off. Handoff to Coordinator: Clearly package and deliver finalized video files and draft captions to the Social Media & Ad Campaign Coordinator for final scheduling and publishing. Asset Organization: Maintain an organized backlog of raw footage and finished mobile assets. Required Skills & Experience2+ years of experience focused specifically on creating short-form, vertical video content for professional or high-engagement personal social media accounts (portfolio submission required). Expert Proficiency in Mobile Videography: Deep understanding of smartphone camera capabilities (iPhone/Android), framing, natural lighting, and creating stable, high-quality shots without expensive equipment. Mastery of Mobile Editing Apps: High proficiency in rapid editing using industry-standard mobile apps (e.g., CapCut, VN, InShot). High Awareness of Social Media Trends: Demonstrated ability to quickly identify, adapt, and execute on trending sounds and formats relevant to the target audience. Passion for Cycling, Fitness, or Outdoors: A genuine interest in the product category is essential for creating authentic, passionate content. Excellent ability to self-manage time, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and manage the end-to-end creation process independently.
