Primary Job Title: Consultant Radiologist

About The Opportunity

Healthcare — Diagnostic Imaging & Tertiary Care Hospital sector. We provide high-quality, patient‑centric radiology and imaging services across multi‑disciplinary clinical teams in India. This on-site Consultant Radiologist role is focused on delivering accurate diagnostic reporting, image‑guided interventions, and clinical collaboration to support inpatient and outpatient care.Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, accurate diagnostic reporting across modalities (X‑ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography) with clear, actionable clinical impressions.
  • Perform image‑guided interventional procedures (biopsies, drainages, vascular and non‑vascular interventions) following best‑practice aseptic and safety protocols.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, tumour boards and case reviews to guide patient management and contribute to clinical decision‑making.
  • Maintain imaging quality and safety: enforce radiation protection (ALARA), protocol optimisation, peer review, and audit activities.
  • Operate and optimise PACS/RIS workflows, ensure accurate reporting turnaround times and support teleradiology integrations where required.
  • Mentor and supervise junior radiologists, residents, and technicians; contribute to continuous professional development and departmental SOPs.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have
  • MBBS with MD/DNB (Radiology) or equivalent and valid Indian medical registration.
  • Proven consultant‑level experience in diagnostic radiology with competency across CT, MRI, ultrasound and X‑ray reporting.
  • Practical experience performing image‑guided interventional procedures and familiarity with fluoroscopy.
  • Hands‑on experience with PACS, DICOM workflows and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and clinical governance in imaging.
  • Ability to work on‑site in India and participate in defined on‑call rotas and multidisciplinary care pathways.

Preferred

  • Fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Radiology, Breast Imaging, Neuroimaging or Cross‑sectional Imaging.
  • Experience with mammography screening, MRI‑guided procedures or advanced CT/MR protocols.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted imaging tools, structured reporting templates and quality improvement initiatives.
