Consultant - Pre-Launch To Store Management

Key Responsibilities:

1. Location Scouting & Setup

• Assist in identifying potential locations across

  South Mumbai

  (Colaba, Fort, Kemps Corner, Worli, etc.)
• Communicate with

  brokers, landlords, and agents

  to set up visits
• Visit and evaluate shortlisted properties with the founder
• Help with

  lease coordination and site documentation

2. Brand Launch Support

• Coordinate with

  designers, contractors, and vendors

  for the fit-out
• Assist in onboarding a

  franchise/collab partner

  (if applicable)
• Track progress, timelines, and budgets
• Research and assist in curating elements across

  F&B, art display, and yoga infrastructure

3. Pre-Opening + Post-Launch Operations

• Support setup of basic

  store systems, team structure, and SOPs

• Handle

  vendor follow-ups, logistics, and operational errands

• Be the founder’s on-ground eyes and ears
• Once launched, assist in

  daily management, customer experience, and team coordination

  — similar to a

  caf or studio floor manager

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in English

  — written and spoken (mandatory)
• Strong interpersonal skills —

  confident dealing with landlords, vendors, and customers

• Prior experience in

  store setup, logistics, or retail/caf operations

• A keen eye for design, aesthetics, and customer journey mapping
• Ability to work independently and take ownership from start to scale
• Proficient with Google Sheets, WhatsApp coordination, and vendor communication
• Must be

  Mumbai-based

  and familiar with the South Mumbai landscape (Colaba to Worli)

Availability

• Immediate joiners preferred
• 12 month full-time contract, with a long-term operational role after launch
