Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our corrugated box manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring machine efficiency, achieving production targets, and maintaining product quality and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across required shift.
• Ensure timely execution of production plans to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor machinery operations such as corrugators, printers, slotters, die-cutters, folder gluers and other machinery.
• Ensure workforce efficiency and manage shift manpower planning.
• Implement production best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and dispatch departments for smooth plant operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping (5S), and quality protocols.
• Maintain accurate production records and downtime analysis.
• Train and motivate shop floor workers to improve productivity and reduce rejections.
• Troubleshoot process and machine-related issues to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree
• 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role within corrugated packaging or related manufacturing industry is preferred but not compulsory.
• Strong understanding of corrugated box production processes and machinery is preferred but not compulsory.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate across departments effectively.
• Problem-solving attitude with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualities:

• Working knowledge of ERP or production tracking software.

• Exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or TPM practices.

• Flexible for rotational shifts if required only.
