Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our corrugated box manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring machine efficiency, achieving production targets, and maintaining product quality and safety standards Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across required shift. Ensure timely execution of production plans to meet delivery schedules. Monitor machinery operations such as corrugators, printers, slotters, die-cutters, folder gluers and other machinery. Ensure workforce efficiency and manage shift manpower planning. Implement production best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and dispatch departments for smooth plant operations. Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping (5S), and quality protocols. Maintain accurate production records and downtime analysis. Train and motivate shop floor workers to improve productivity and reduce rejections. Troubleshoot process and machine-related issues to minimize downtime. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelors degree 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role within corrugated packaging or related manufacturing industry is preferred but not compulsory. Strong understanding of corrugated box production processes and machinery is preferred but not compulsory. Ability to manage teams and coordinate across departments effectively. Problem-solving attitude with a focus on operational efficiency. Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills . Preferred Qualities: Working knowledge of ERP or production tracking software. Exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or TPM practices. Flexible for rotational shifts if required only. PPC MANAGER An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them and establishes production schedules and ensures that actual production meets scheduled requirements. Controls various load factors to ensure maximum utilization of available capacity considering available labour, tools, and equipment etc Reporting to : Directors, General Manager Responsibilities Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products capacity planning, shop order release, dispatch/shop/Job scheduling Coordinates production operations with requirements for finished products and the needs for materials and labour Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay management of a customarily recognized department or subdivision, including the supervision of five or more full-time employees Assign workers and other staff to production operations & schedule according to production needs Prepare and submit status and performance reports Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff Industry: Corrugation/Manufacturing Experience: 8 to 10 years Sales Turnover: 100-150 Crores Production capacity: 3000+ Tonnes of conversion capacity of Kraft Paper per month Soft skills: Leadership & Team Management, Problem solving - RCA , Communication, Decision making Good at math and statistics, Experience in Manufacturing planning Teams reporting into PPC Manager Production supervisors, Production in-charge etc. Team Size - Direct Reportees - 5 & Total team size – 5 AGE RANGE: 35 to 40 LANGUAGES THEY SHOULD KNOW: English, Hindi, Local language (preferred)
