Primary title (standardized): Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

About The Opportunity

• Provide independent inpatient and outpatient clinical care for antenatal, intrapartum and gynaecological patients, including high-risk pregnancy management.
• Perform and lead operative procedures: cesarean sections, gynaecologic surgeries, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy with adherence to surgical safety protocols.
• Manage obstetric emergencies (postpartum hemorrhage, eclampsia, sepsis) and coordinate rapid response with ICU/anaesthesia teams.
• Conduct and interpret obstetric ultrasound and fetal monitoring; make evidence-based decisions for delivery planning.
• Supervise and mentor residents and nursing staff; deliver training on protocols, emergency drills and clinical governance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, audit, record-keeping and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Credentials

• MBBS with DGO/MD/MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Valid medical registration with the relevant Indian medical council (state or national).
• Demonstrated clinical experience managing deliveries, emergency obstetric care and operative gynaecology in a hospital setting.
