Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Consultant Physician to join a leading multi-specialty hospital in the thriving region of South Gujarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of medical conditions, providing high-quality care to our patients. This role requires a strong foundation in internal medicine and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties: Provide comprehensive consultative and primary care services to patients in outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) settings. Conduct thorough physical examinations, review medical histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to accurately diagnose patient conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine. Manage acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, infectious diseases, and respiratory conditions. Provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and manage medical emergencies effectively. Patient Management: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive health measures. Maintain clear, accurate, and timely medical records for all patients. Ensure continuity of care by collaborating with other specialists, surgeons, and healthcare staff. Quality and Development: Participate in hospital committees, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Stay updated with the latest advancements in internal medicine through continuous medical education (CME). Mentor junior doctors and medical students as required. 3. Qualifications and Experience Required: MD or DNB in Internal Medicine or General Medicine from a recognized university and accredited by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 10 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting after post-graduation. License: Valid and current registration with the Gujarat Medical Council or the National Medical Commission. 4. Skills and Competencies Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in managing complex medical cases. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desirable. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients, their families, and colleagues. Empathetic and ethical approach to patient care. Language: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati is highly preferred. 5.
