About the Role 

Business Consultant – Cable Design

DDM (Design & Data Management)

customers and internal teams

Key Responsibilities 

• Understand customer requirements related to 

  cable design and cable manufacturing processes

   
• Convert requirements into 

  scope documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria

   
• Support documentation of 

  cable construction steps

  , including: 
• Complete 

  design calculations for power and fibre cables

   
• Dimensional details and build-up logic 
• Writing and validating 

  formulas and calculation sheets

   
• Support understanding of 

  manufacturing processes

  , including: 
• Stranding, insulation, laying-up, sheathing, armouring, etc. 
• Assist in implementing 

  Design & Data Management (DDM)

   by translating design logic into system requirements 
• Support 

  testing, UAT, and delivery

  , ensuring accuracy of design outputs 
• Participate in 

  customer meetings and review sessions

   
• Be willing to 

  travel within India and abroad

   

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering

   

• 1–2 years of experience

   in cable design or cable manufacturing 
• Hands-on exposure to 

  cable design calculations and dimensional details

   
• Strong working knowledge of 

  Excel formulas and calculation sheets

   

• Good communication skills (mandatory)

   
• Willingness to learn and work in a 

  software product environment

   

Nice to Have 

• Knowledge of 

  IS / IEC cable standards

   
• Exposure to 

  documentation, testing, or implementation projects

   
• Awareness of 

  DDM / PLM / PDM

   concepts
