Consultant Backend Developer (Python)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python
• Work with frameworks such as Django / Flask / FastAPI (as per project needs)
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services
• Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards
• Integrate databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues
• Stay updated with the latest Python trends, tools, and best practices
  

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of proven experience as a Python Developer
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and object-oriented programming
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Good understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
