Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of warehouse and industrial construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner over minimum 20-acre to maximum 150-acre land development. The Construction Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals from different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding the budget.

Educational Requirements and Work Experience

Minimum Education Requirements:

• B.E. or B.Tech - Civil (Mandatory)
  
• Post-graduation in Construction/Project Management (Preferred but not mandatory)

Essential Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

HSE

Develop HSE management plan for the project, conduct regular site audits for safety, and ensure zero lost time injury and 100% Safe man hours on the project.

Quality Assurance and Check

Develop the Quality management plan for the project, Develop and approve the Inspection Test Plan with all the contractors and ensure implementation of it, Develop and implement checklist for each construction activity, conduct quality audit and address the issues.

Key Knowledge Areas

• Clear understanding of statutory requirements for industrial and warehousing greenfield and brownfield development projects
  
• Excellent communication and networking skills; ability to liaise effectively with design consultants, statutory consultants, PMCs, and end customers
  
• Well-versed with IGBC green building ratings and key requirements for design incorporation and site implementation
  
• PEB construction understanding including design criteria, pros and cons
  
• Hands-on experience in developing construction schedules using Microsoft Project software
  
• Working knowledge of IS and AISC codes for steel structures
  
• Technical knowledge about FM and DM type of flooring and design criteria
  
• Well-versed with NBC codes and fire/life safety regulations for warehouse design
