Construction Engineer

Planning & scheduling the construction activities Execute the construction activities for projects with higher complexity & size within one or more application areas as per the agreed project schedule & specified quality requirements Regularly monitor the progress, resolve operational hurdles/ bottlenecks that might hamper the execution of the project, and report on a daily basis Monitor activities based on quality, cost, engineering hours & DOT as agreed at the time of the project Coordinate with cross-functional internal and external sources to facilitate quality construction at the site Attend site meetings with customers, consultants, and external suppliers Mechanical completion and handing over the plant to customers Ensure appropriate Health & Safety measures are implemented at the site Lead one or more construction engineer(s) and stores supervisor to provide timely support at the project site Identify and inform to HO An appropriate competent external outsourced agency Continuously enhance the competency of team members working at the site Ensure appropriate arrangements for team members working on the project site ensuring their comfort, efficiency, and work-life balance Ensuring talent retention Who you are As a person, you are to execute the construction activities including installation and commissioning support of Alfa Laval projects within the set targets on quality, cost, and DOT To act as a single point of contact between the external customer and Alfa Laval for successful execution ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction What you can be Chemical/ Mechanical engineer having relevant experience in Project Management Good understanding of construction activities of Process plants Around 5 years of experience in relevant project installation or execution Preferably in handling international projects Why should you apply We offer you an interesting and challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create value for our customers Exciting place to build a global network with different nationalities to mingle and to learn Your work will have a true impact on Alfa Lavals future success, you will be learning new things every day InterestedPlease apply for the position Note We care about diversity, inclusion, and equity in our recruitment processes We also believe behavioral traits can provide important insights into a candidate's fit to a role To help us achieve this we apply Pymetrics assessments, and upon application, you will be invited to play the assessment games
