We are seeking a Construction BIM Specialist with hands-on experience in Revit and a strong understanding of building construction workflows. The role requires working on construction-stage BIM models, interpreting schedules, and making informed decisions where details may be unclear or evolving.

This position is ideal for candidates with a construction-focused background. Professionals with experience limited to product design, furniture modeling, or small-scale CAD work may find this role challenging.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage BIM models using Revit for building construction projects
Work with construction teams to align BIM models with actual site execution
Understand and model building systems across all phases:
Foundations
Structural systems
Building envelope
MEP coordination
Read and interpret Primavera P6 schedules and translate activities into BIM tasks
Interpret high-level or unclear activity names and convert them into actionable modeling steps
Make judgment calls based on construction logic when complete information is not available
Ensure BIM outputs reflect construction sequencing and methodology

Must-Have Skills Qualifications

1 4 years of experience in BIM / Architecture / Civil / Construction roles
Strong proficiency in Revit (experience on large projects is a plus)
Solid understanding of construction phases and building organization
Ability to read and understand P6 schedules
Practical construction knowledge and decision-making ability
Background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering

Preferred Experience

Exposure to large-scale commercial or residential projects
Experience coordinating with structure, envelope, and MEP teams
Understanding of construction sequencing and on-site workflows
