Configuration Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building configurators using iLogic, Inventor, and related supportive tools to generate automatic 3D models and drawings. This role requires you to be focused, structured, and independent. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders globally and colleagues from other departments, requiring a proactive approach and excellent communication skills. Patience and thoroughness in work are essential qualities for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Build configurators using iLogic, Inventor, and related tools - Understand and interpret requirements technically and from a CAD configuration perspective - Propose CAD automation projects to automate processes and enhance design quality - Seek new ways to exceed expectations and add value to stakeholders - Coordinate with team members, deliver projects on time with the right quality, and collaborate with global colleagues - Manage communication with global stakeholders in different time zones - Provide end-to-end solutions to the engineering value chain - Develop tools to automate engineering processes and reduce engineering hours through innovation - Create and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders - Contribute to design projects of Powder technology products and create 3D models and 2D drawings as needed - Coordinate with the design and projects team in Europe Qualifications Required: - Degree/Diploma in Engineering with 4-8 years of experience - Advanced skills in Autodesk Inventor and iLogic, with knowledge of parametric/skeleton modeling - Ability to create user design interface forms in Inventor for various product configurations - Familiarity with workflow and integration between Autodesk Vault (or other PLM & PDM tools) and Autodesk Inventor - Self-driven, continuous learner, with excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong English skills (verbal and written) - Ability to tackle challenges with a sense of ownership and a solution-oriented Agile mindset - Knowledge of Tacton configuration, VBA, or other programming languages - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile development environments Additional Company Details: The company offers an opportunity to work on projects involving Powder technology products and encourages continuous learning and development.
