Familiarity with workflow and integration between Autodesk Vault and Autodesk Inventor, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and surface treatment is essential. Moreover, you should possess knowledge of hygiene and sanitary requirements of equipment, the ability to read and understand equipment specifications, P&ID information, and engineering drawings, as well as expertise in Design Fundamentals and BOM creation. Being technically sound is crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Knowledge of PDM & ERP systems such as Bluestar, Axapta, SAP would be advantageous. Role & responsibilities Design mechanical components using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor). Develop detailed 2D drawings with correct tolerances and GD&T. Prepare complete Bill of Materials (BOMs) and product documentation. Participate in and sometimes lead design reviews and cross-functional meetings.
