Configuration Engineer

Role Overview: As a Configuration Engineer, you will work closely with the Business and Project Manager/Scrum Master for the implementation and support of Coupa Risk Assess projects. Your role will involve hands-on experience with Coupa, multiple implementation exposure, and expertise in workflow configuration. Being a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Quickly learn Coupa Capabilities Technical Configuration in the tool. - Understand Business Requirements and the design of Coupa Risk Assess developed for Deutsche Bank. - Manage Configuration Changes in Coupa Risk Access and Reporting. - Collaborate with Architects & Platform Owner to support the Program Deployment mission. - Investigate and resolve issues escalated to development/L3 within defined SLAs. - Conduct Coupa Release Testing, report issues, and resolve problems. - Implement best practices based on Industry standards. - Participate in Reviews, assess solution feasibility and functional fitment as per DB standards, align customer expectations, and ensure smooth project delivery. - Document configuration details, enrich Key Operating Principles, and deliver Maintenance documentation. - Propose process improvements based on application capabilities and industry best practices. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of total experience with at least 3 years in software configuration/support engineering. - At least 2 years of experience in workflow configuration in Coupa or similar products. - Exposure to DBMS concepts and designing reports in Coupa Risk Assess. - Technical Knowledge of SFTP, Unix, and Data Exchange mechanism would be advantageous. - Familiarity with SDLC & Agile processes. - Experience in Vendor Risk Management is a plus. - Customer-focused with cross-functional team collaboration experience. - Strong organization skills, resolution management, and superior written and verbal communication. - Coupa Risk Assess certification is beneficial.
