Confectioner

The Confectioner is responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of desserts, pastries, and confectionery items. The role ensures high-quality standards, creative presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Preparation

• Prepare cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates, and other desserts as per recipes.
• Develop and test new confectionery recipes to enhance the menu.
• Ensure taste, texture, and appearance meet established quality standards.

2. Decoration & Presentation

• Decorate baked goods using icing, fondant, glazes, and other decorative elements.
• Maintain creativity and consistency in presentation for display and events.

3. Inventory & Equipment Handling

• Maintain adequate stock of ingredients and baking supplies.
• Operate ovens, mixers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and storage conditions.

4. Hygiene & Safety

• Follow HACCP and FSSAI guidelines for food safety and sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area and tools.
• Ensure proper labeling, temperature control, and waste management.

5. Teamwork & Coordination

• Work closely with chefs and service teams for event requirements.
• Assist in training junior staff or apprentices when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Certificate in Bakery & Confectionery or Culinary Arts.
• 2–5 years of experience in bakery or confectionery production.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and decoration methods.
• Time management and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
