Job Title: Confectioner / Sweet Maker

Location: Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and skill)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Confectioner to join our team in Ujjain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing traditional Indian sweets and desserts, along with knowledge of hygiene, quality control, and modern cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of Indian sweets (mithai) such as laddoo, barfi, peda, gulab jamun, rasgulla, etc.
• Ensure high quality, taste, and presentation of all products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Manage raw material usage and reduce wastage.
• Work with kitchen staff and assist in new recipe development.
• Follow safety standards and food handling guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sweet/confectionery making.
• Expertise in preparing a range of Indian sweets.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during peak hours.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work experience in a sweet shop, hotel, or food production unit.
• Creativity in sweet innovation and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of costing and inventory is a plus.

Working Hours:

• 8 to 10 hours per day, 6 days a week
