Key Responsibilities:

• Build CFD models and execute advanced simulations and analysis
• Generate CFD meshes and perform both steady and unsteady CFD analysis using standard commercial tools (ANSYS, STAR-CCM+, OPENFOAM…)
• Coordinate with design teams to develop/implement optimize mechanical systems design and guide the design process
• Develop user defined routines to extend commercial software capabilities using Python and C++
• Provide consistent and concise oral and written reports to guide design outcomes and resolves issues

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s /master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Strong background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer fundamentals and numerical methods
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with CAD programs, Microsoft Office products and coding tools
• Good programming skills, e.g. Matlab, Python
• Outstanding teamwork skills and high degree of commitment
• Excellent skills in written and spoken English
• Have a logical problem-solving approach

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• Knowledge of ANSYS CFD Suite (Ansys Design Modeler, Ansys Space Claim, ICEM CFD, Ansys Meshing, Fluent Meshing, Ansys Fluent, CFD Post, Ensight, Discovery Live)
• Knowledge of FDS/OPENFOAM
• MTech Candidates would be preferred
