Compliance Officer – Fund Management Entity

Job Description

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the Fund Management Entity (FME) adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA). This includes oversight of internal compliance processes, regulatory reporting, monitoring investment activities, and ensuring governance standards are met Key Responsibilities: Act as the principal point of contact for all compliance-related matters with IFSCA. Ensure the FME complies with all IFSCA Fund Management Regulations, 2022 and updates thereof. Draft, review, and implement internal compliance policies and procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation. Monitor investment and fund operations for adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines. Prepare and submit required filings, returns, and reports to IFSCA and other relevant authorities. Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal training. Liaise with internal teams to resolve compliance breaches or reporting issues. Maintain logs for regulatory inspections, notices, and ensure appropriate responses. Ensure AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering / Combating Financing of Terrorism) compliance and reporting in line with Indian and international standards. Experience & Skills Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in compliance or regulatory affairs, in asset management, fund management, or financial services. Prior experience with SEBI, RBI, or IFSCA-regulated entities. Strong knowledge of IFSCA, SEBI, and global financial regulations.
