Job Description

Position Overview

The Compliance Data Reporting Analyst at HRCS is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable compliance insights across all RCM functions. This role ensures HRCS meets internal SOPs, client-specific compliance requirements, audit standards, and regulatory expectations (including HIPAA). The position supports leadership by providing transparent compliance metrics, dashboards, audit analysis, and risk alerts to strengthen operational integrity and protect revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance Reporting & RCM Analytics

• Prepare and publish daily/weekly/monthly compliance reports across Charge Entry, Coding, Payment Posting, AR, and Denials.

  • Maintain compliance dashboards to track audit performance, error trends, and SOP adherence.
  • Deliver COO-level summaries and insights for leadership reviews.

2. Data Accuracy & Process Governance

• Validate data extracted from EMR/PMS platforms used within HRCS. • Audit system-generated data for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with client SOPs.

• Maintain structured documentation for all reporting workflows.

3. Audit Coordination & RCA Tracking

• Consolidate internal audit findings from QA/Compliance teams.

• Classify errors (CE, Coding, PP, AR, Denials) and prepare RCA summaries.

• Track action plans, closures, and repeated non-compliance cases across teams.

• Escalate high-risk compliance breaches to management.

4. Policy & SOP Compliance Management

• Track adherence to HRCS SOPs and client-specific rules.

  • Support revision of internal SOPs by providing insights on recurring compliance gaps.

• Ensure HIPAA and PHI-handling guidelines are followed across all reporting interactions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Operations Managers, QA Teams, and Client Account Leads.

  • Work directly with the COOs office to provide compliance snapshots and leadership decks.

• Deliver simplified, executive-level reporting for internal reviews and client audits.

6. Compliance Risk Monitoring

• Identify process breakdowns, recurring deviations, or potential revenue leakage risks.

• Share early-warning alerts for audit drops or workflow inconsistencies.

• Support proactive compliance improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Commerce, Health Information Management, Computer Science, or related field.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Pivot, Power Query, Macros preferred). • Power BI/Tableau dashboard-building experience (preferred).
  • Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.

• Familiarity with EMR/PMS platforms (eClinicalWorks, Allscripts, Kareo, etc. preferred).

Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of RCM workflows in:

  • Charge Entry
  • Coding
  • Payment Posting
  • AR Follow-up

o Denials Management

• Knowledge of compliance requirements, audit frameworks, HIPAA, and client quality standards.
