Compliance Analyst

Role Overview: As an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting and supporting the organization to ensure compliance with U.S. State and Federal Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. Your responsibilities will involve evaluating internal operations, controls, and documentation related to AML regulatory compliance. Your recommendations for appropriate changes will be instrumental in maintaining regulatory conformance. Key Responsibilities: - Detect, review, and log suspected Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activity - Escalate suspected AML activity to internal team members and provide assistance with inquiries - Adapt to shifting priorities to meet customer and business partner needs - Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the insurance industry, products, services, and team processes - Manage time effectively in a dynamic environment - Collaborate with clients and support internal audits related to Compliance - Work on AML reporting projects with other Compliance team members - Draft, maintain, and prepare various documents such as procedures, job aids, and matrices - Monitor functional and operational areas for AML compliance risks - Make independent decisions that impact strategic direction - Prepare compliance documents or agreements specific to AML - Work independently and seek assistance when required - Potential cross-training opportunities in other Compliance areas Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Proficiency in time management and prioritization - Familiarity with compliance procedures and documentation - Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements - Availability for Monday-Friday schedule (8:00am to 5:00pm CST),
