Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Company Secretary, located near Joka in Kolkata. The Company Secretary will be responsible for managing the company's compliance with legal and statutory requirements, maintaining company records, and liaising with regulatory authorities. The role involves preparing board meeting agendas, recording minutes, handling communication with board members, and coordinating regulatory filings. The Company Secretary will also provide support in implementing corporate governance practices, assist with audits, and ensure that all corporate activities are compliant with applicable laws. A good knowledge of FEMA is expected.

Qualifications

• Holding Membership of ICSI
• Excellent knowledge of corporate law and regulatory requirements, and document handling skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using office software such as MS Office
• Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with board members and regulatory authorities
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in administrative tasks
• Prior experience in a company secretary or compliance-related role is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
