Key Responsibilities: - Governance and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. - Stay updated on relevant legislations and inform the board of any changes affecting the business. - Manage all company secretarial obligations. - Board And Committee Meetings: - Organize, prepare agendas for, and attend board and committee meetings. - Ensure board procedures are followed and regularly reviewed. - Maintain minutes of meetings. - Strategic Planning: - Collaborate with other leaders to guide the company's growth. - Provide legal advice on strategic plans. - Management And Training: - Mentor and train staff. - Facilitate communication between the board and management. - Coordinate with departments for smooth information flow. Qualifications Required: - Qualified Company Secretary with a LLB degree. - Membership of a recognized professional body for company secretaries. - 5-10 years post-qualification experience in company secretarial practices, specifically with listed companies. - Strong understanding of corporate governance principles. - Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Uphold high ethical standards and professional integrity.
