Community Mobilizer – Skill Development & Livelihood Project

About the Role:

We are looking for passionate and dynamic Community Mobilizers to join our team under the Skill India Mission. The selected candidates will play a key role in reaching out to rural and urban communities, identifying deserving youth, and motivating them to participate in Skill Development and Livelihood Training Programs implemented under NSDC, PMKK, and DDU-GKY frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct community visits, door-to-door campaigns, and awareness drives to identify unemployed youth.
• Counsel candidates about Skill India, NSDC, DDU-GKY, PMKK courses and career opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, panchayats, SHGs, and local organizations.
• Organize mobilization events, job fairs, village meetings, and enrollment camps.
• Support the admission and documentation process as per project guidelines.
• Ensure inclusive participation of women, SC/ST, and marginalized groups.
• Assist the project team in tracking trainees’ progress, placements, and livelihood outcomes.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for community engagement and youth empowerment.
• Knowledge of Skill India, NSDC, PMKK, DDU-GKY, or other government skill programs preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively and work in the field independently.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.).

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum: Graduate in any discipline (preferably Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields).
• Desirable: Experience in skill development, livelihood promotion, or community mobilization projects.

Experience:

• 1–3 years in community mobilization, skill/livelihood programs, or NGO sector.
• Freshers with strong community connect and motivation are also encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
