Job Description – Community Manager (Alt Life Manali & Alt Life Dharamkot)

We’re looking for an energetic, people-loving, and creative Community Manager to join our vibrant teams at Alt Life Manali and Alt Life Dharamkot.
If you are a natural host, love meeting new people, enjoy organising fun events, and can create a positive and lively vibe at the property—this role is for you!

What You’ll Do

  • Build an inclusive, friendly, and engaging community atmosphere at the property.
  • Welcome and interact with guests—ensuring they have an unforgettable Alt Life experience.
  • Manage daily community operations to elevate the overall guest satisfaction.
  • Plan, organise, and execute events, workshops, music nights, treks, game nights, meetups, and more.
  • Conduct daily icebreaking activities to help travellers connect with each other.
  • Encourage collaboration between guests—whether they’re working, exploring, or just chilling.
  • Support the team in maintaining Alt Life’s signature vibe: Work by day, party by night!

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience in community management, social media, or guest engagement.
  • Can play a musical instrument, host karaoke/open-mic nights, or bring creative talent to events.
  • Love conversations and can make travellers feel at home instantly.
  • Are comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people from across the world.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in community management, events, or hospitality.
  • Strong ability to plan, organise, and run engaging activities for a mixed audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in handling guest queries.
  • Team player who works smoothly with F&B, FO, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, and people-centric environment.
  • A good sense of humour and a positive attitude are a must!
  • Able to commit minimum 6 months to this on-ground role.

Additional Details

  • This is a full-time, on-property role.
  • The selected Community Manager will be required to stay at the property (Manali or Dharamkot).
  • You’ll work closely with the property team and engage with guests daily.
  • The role is dynamic and evolving—responsibilities may grow as community initiatives expand.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
