ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Community Manager at a coworking space, your role is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community among the members of the coworking space. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment that encourages collaboration, networking, and engagement among the diverse group of individuals and businesses that utilize the coworking space. Your job description may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Member Relations: Build strong relationships with members of the coworking space, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service. Act as the main point of contact for members, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Space Tours: Giving a tour of the space to potential clients, understanding their requirements and showing them various options, showing them facilities and amenities at the space Community Development: Develop and implement initiatives and programs that foster community engagement, such as networking events, workshops, and social gatherings. Create opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge to promote a sense of community and mutual support. Space Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coworking space, including managing reservations, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, and ensuring that facilities and amenities are well-maintained and operational. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the coworking space and attract new members. Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and membership retention. Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to promote events, initiatives, and updates to the community. Member Onboarding and Orientation: Welcome new members to the coworking space and provide them with an orientation on the facilities, amenities, and community guidelines. Assist new members in getting settled and connected to the community, helping them establish relationships and find resources. Community Engagement: Actively engage with members, facilitating introductions, connections, and collaborations. Build a strong sense of community through regular communication, engagement on social media, and organizing member-led initiatives. Foster a positive and inclusive community culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Issue Resolution: Proactively address any member concerns or issues related to the coworking space, facilities, or services. Resolve conflicts and mediate disputes to ensure a harmonious and respectful community environment. Reporting and Analytics: Collect and analyze data related to membership, occupancy, utilization, and member satisfaction. Prepare reports and provide insights to management to inform decision-making and improve operations. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as managing membership contracts, invoicing, and record-keeping. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations of the coworking space. Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse members and create a welcoming community. Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills to address member inquiries and issues. Organizational skills to manage the operations and events of the coworking space. Knowledge of coworking industry trends, community management best practices, and facility management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
