Responsibilities

The Community Leadership Program cum Internship is a structured, learning-led and practice-oriented program designed to develop young community leaders with strong foundations in social capital, leadership, research, communication, digital empowerment, event planning, partnerships, and sustainability. Participants will undergo guided training across 11 progressive modules, combining conceptual clarity with hands-on assignments. The program equips participants to identify community needs, design and sustain community initiatives, plan and execute events, build partnerships, and demonstrate ethical, resilient leadership. The program concludes with reflection, impact assessment, and certification, ensuring participants graduate with both skills and real-world application experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities: Support community-building initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities Assist in identifying and understanding community needs through research and interactions Contribute to planning and execution of community events, campaigns, and outreach programs Help create communication material such as emails, messages, basic content, and presentations Assist in digital engagement, online coordination, and professional networking activities Support partnerships and coordination with collaborators, volunteers, and mentors Maintain basic documentation, reporting, and impact tracking of activities Participate actively in discussions, reviews, and feedback sessions What You Will Gain: Practical exposure to community leadership and social impact initiatives Experience in research, communication, coordination, and event execution Improved leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Understanding of how communities, organisations, and partners work together Certificate of Completion upon successful fulfilment of program requirements Letter of Recommendation for high-performing participants Networking opportunities within the social innovation and leadership ecosystem Eligibility & Commitment: Open to students (any stream, any year) and early-career professionals Strong interest in leadership, community development, social impact, or entrepreneurship Willingness to commit 60 100 hours over the program duration Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
