Communications Specialist

You are an enthusiastic Communications Specialist responsible for managing both external and internal communications for the company. Your role involves promoting a positive public image and controlling the dissemination of information on behalf of the organization. Your exceptional communication and copywriting skills are crucial in this position. Corporate communications experience and project management skills are also important. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm will play a key role in building trust with colleagues and external parties. Key Responsibilities: - Develop effective corporate communication strategies - Manage internal communications including information and newsletters - Draft content for mass media and company website - Organize initiatives and plan events for conferences and branding - Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews and statements - Build relationships with advocates and key persons - Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copy for articles - Assist in communicating strategies or messages from senior leadership Requirements and Skills: - Proven experience as a communications specialist - Experience in web design and content production is a plus - Proficiency in copywriting and editing - Strong understanding of project management principles - Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset - Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills - Outstanding organizational and planning abilities - Proficient command of English - BSc/BA in public relations, communications, or relevant field - Willingness to travel throughout India if necessary Please note that this is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
