Communications Manager

As a Communications Specialist at this company, your role will involve developing and executing social media campaigns, managing content creation, and analyzing engagement across various platforms. You will lead the creation of newsletters, brochures, reports, articles, blogs, presentations, and audio-visual materials. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential to align communication strategies, enhance organizational visibility, and maintain consistent branding across all platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting media outreach and PR initiatives by drafting press releases and coordinating with the external PR team. - Maintaining and updating websites, and coordinating SEO and web analytics with vendors. - Managing media assets and maintaining stakeholder databases in compliance with ethical standards. - Overseeing communication collateral for events, ensuring brand consistency, and supporting internal capacity building in communications. - Liaising with designers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver communication materials on time and within budget. - Handling other ad hoc work related to communications and events. The qualifications required for this role include: - 2-3 years of experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in the social sector. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in content creation, social media management, and analyzing engagement metrics. - Experience in maintaining websites, coordinating SEO activities, and utilizing web analytics tools. - Familiarity with media outreach, PR initiatives, and stakeholder management. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
