Communications Associate

We’re expanding our communication team!

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Communication Associate to drive The Urban Lab’s communication efforts under the Visibility Unlocked campaign and the Podcast Series. The ideal candidate will blend strong storytelling skills with strategic communication thinking—able to translate our urban projects and research into engaging, accessible, and impactful content.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Design Communication, or related fields

1-3 years of experience in communication, media, or creative coordination (urban/design background is a plus)

Skills:

Strong writing, graphics, and storytelling abilities

Familiar with social media and digital tools (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)

Experience coordinating with designers, video editors, or creative teams

A sense of design aesthetics and curiosity for cities & sustainability
