Read more - www.mantra4change.org About the role We are seeking a Communications Lead to join our Bihar STEP Program and help establish Mantra4Changes presence across various channels and forums. In this position, you will play a key role in promoting our organization through engaging social media activities, visual communication (video blogs and infographics), and media engagements. Roles and Responsibilities Content Creation: Create engaging and informative content for Mantra4Change s various communication channels, including social media, the website, newsletters, blogs, and internal communications. Gather stories from the field which includes travel to different geographies. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and generate content ideas that align with our organizations goals and target audience. Collaborate with the design lead to create visually appealing content that complements written materials. Website Management: Ensure the organizations website is up-to-date, visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (SEO). Regularly update website content, employee section, and event information to reflect current activities and initiatives by Mantra4Change. Media Relations: Build and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to enhance our organizations visibility. Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches to promote our key initiatives and events. Event Coordination Coordinate and plan organization-hosted events, online or in-person, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for participants. Collaborate with cross-functional teams/organizations to organize events that align with Mantra4Change s mission and vision. Experience and Competencies Required Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, Media or Communications. Must have a bachelors degree in Communication, Journalism, or English Literature. Must be willing to learn and have a proactive approach. Must be open to feedback and adhere to timelines.
