Role Overview: As a member of the pre-opening team at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, your role involves maintaining high standards of food preparation and service in the appointed kitchen(s) as per the Management's guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Stock up the assigned kitchen with raw materials and ingredients daily - Master basic cooking methods and prepare food items according to standard recipe cards - Maintain portion control, minimize wastage, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) - Clean and maintain all equipment in the food production area - Report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment in need of repair to the immediate supervisor promptly - Familiarize yourself with kitchen equipment and observe safety precautions - Participate in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures - Attend briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management - Maintain high personal appearance and hygiene standards - Practice strict control on food portioning and wastage to ensure gross food profitability Qualifications: - Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs training courses for at least one year - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a five-star international chain hotel - Ability to read recipes and good knowledge of cooking techniques - Strong communication skills Note: Fairmont Udaipur Palace is committed to diversity and inclusion, aiming to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.,
