Commis I

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and excellent kitchen management skills.

• Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in inventory management and stock control of kitchen supplies.

• Proven experience as a Commis I or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain high levels of attention to detail and quality control.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
